Six months prior to your wedding have regular facials to help improve your skin

Drink plenty of water and cut down on caffeine and alcohol

Six weeks before your wedding start experimenting with make-up. Ask for samples from beauty departments and take advice from the beauticians

Use a primer underneath make-up as this helps fill in fine lines and pores and helps eliminate the makeup from settling into fine lines. Primer also helps make-up stay and last longer.

Use translucent powder to set make-up. If the weather is very hot, ask the brides mother to keep a small compact of translucent powder in her bag for touch-ups.

To help lipstick stay, use the same color lip pencil all over the lips then apply a coat of lipstick. Blot with tissue, apply another coat of lipstick, then apply lip gloss if desired.
